The World Bank has raised its previous forecast regarding Armenia's economic growth. The WB predicts 4.4 percent economic growth in Armenia in 2023, increasing its earlier forecast by 0.3 percent.
World Affairs estimates economic growth in Armenia to be 4.8 percent in 2024 and 5 percent in 2025.
As for the countries of the region, according to the previous forecast, the bank reduced the forecast for Azerbaijan by 0.6 percent, estimating the economic growth for 2023 at only 2.2 percent. The World Bank predicts 2.5 percent economic growth in Azerbaijan in 2024 and 2.6 percent in 2025.
This year, the bank predicts the same economic growth for Georgia as for Armenia: 4.4 percent and 5 percent in 2024 and 2025.
