In response to the publication of the "Hraparak" daily newspaper

The other day, the "Hraparak" daily published a list of "enemies of Russia" with the names of a group of figures and mass media, in which, among "Azatutyun," "Civilnet" and other news outlets, Radar Armenia also appeared. Regardless of who is the real author of that list, whether it was leaked from the Russian authorities or not, we think it's necessary to respond.

1) Radar Armenia rejects any external orientation, considering it absurd and immoral. The priority for Radar Armenia is the national interest of the Republic of Armenia, the state, its security and its well-being. We reject every positioning or "orientation" that is contrary to this.

2) Radar Armenia is a free speech platform where articles, author's analyses, interviews, and posts of public and political figures are not reviewed, are not subjected to political censorship, and are not banned, even if they do not coincide with the subjective opinion of the editors.

3) Radar Armenia has carried out balanced coverage since the beginning of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, not discriminating between the statements of Russian and Western officials and presenting the most important ones to its readers without semantic distortions and disinformation. Everyone has the right to an opinion about any event, and harassment, pressure, or coercion is prohibited.

4) We urge our colleagues in the journalistic community to refrain from discrediting and labeling each other's publications, having as a starting point the nature of intra-community solidarity, ethics, and partnership relations, as well as the simple understanding that any critical and praise words published in any media are not at all of the given media. Are not indicators of "orientation." According to that logic, any mass media can be declared an enemy or a satellite of Russia, USA, EU, Iran, or Georgia, based on any list from the drawers, with the resulting consequences.
