The President of the Republic, Vahagn Khachaturyan, sent a congratulatory message to the President of the Republic of Italy Sergio Mattarella on Republic Day.
President Khachaturyan's address states explicitly:
"I must note with satisfaction that the interstate relations between Armenia and Italy have developed naturally over the past years, being distinguished by high-level political dialogue, economic, cultural and scientific-educational cooperation, in which your contribution is undeniable.
I am confident that with joint efforts, we will contribute to the strengthening of the traditional Armenian-Italian friendship and will give a new charge to the bilateral relations for the benefit of our peoples."
