Batum-Novorossiysk cargo transportation by sea has been launched. This was reported to the Ministry of Economy. Trial ship transportation of containerized cargo has already been carried out, during which no significant problems have arisen.
For now, it is planned to carry out one shipment per week; depending on the demand, the freight may increase. The state plans to subsidize the maritime sector of cargo transportation.
