The French Development Agency will support the implementation of urban planning projects
The Urban Planning Committee hosted the delegation of the French Development Agency (FDA), headed by Karin Fruin, head of the FDA Urban Development Working Group.
Nune Petrosyan, deputy chairman of the committee, presented the structure's leading powers, strategy, communal areas, and several urban development issues. The urban planning projects implemented under the coordination of the committee were observed, and the edges of possible cooperation were discussed.
At the meeting, the need to develop a main strategic document aimed at regulating the spatial planning of the country, proportional sustainable development of territories, environment, historical and cultural heritage, and creating a comfortable, safe, and secure living environment for people was emphasized. I've referred to the implementation of joint work to effectively organize preparatory work for developing the resettlement project.
Representatives of the French Development Agency delegation expressed their readiness to support the implementation of the programs. During the additional discussion, the parties agreed to learn more about the next steps to explain the scope of cooperation.
