April 25 is World Malaria Day.
The RA Ministry of Health reports that since 2006, no malaria cases have been recorded in Armenia, and 2011, the World Health Organization certified Armenia as a malaria-free area.
"Since malaria cases are recorded every year in the republic, the task of the health system is to prevent malaria from re-rooting in our country thanks to the early detection and treatment of malaria cases," the Ministry of Health informs.
