RA Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Gnel Sanosyan referred to the construction works of the new nuclear power plant.
According to the minister, they should be started in 2025-26, "There are jobs. It is quite a serious, complex financial, political, energy, and timely decision."
According to him, nuclear power plants are built for 60+40 years, "They should have at least 100 years of life. Now there is a need to make the right decisions so that when it is built, presumably in 2035-36. to have a new power unit, be it with such a capacity that it fits into our energy system."
