RA Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Gnel Sanosyan presented details of the progress of the construction of the interstate road to Iran in the National Assembly.
"We had earlier announced a tender for 60 km, but it is a complex and long-term tender, and we are still at that stage. 60 km is a new road, a complex section, 27 bridges, and 12 tunnels, one of which is 8.6 km. It is quite serious; there is no such complex project in the region yet. And the southern part, 32 km, I guess we will finish it in a month. We already have participants in the competition, the winning company has been named, and now we are checking the documents. If everything is normal, we will finish in a month," he said.
