Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan received the delegation headed by Rafael Zhozan, the director of the representative office of the AFD in the South Caucasus. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Armenia Anne Luyot was also present at the meeting.
Welcoming the attendees, Deputy Prime Minister Khachatryan emphasized that the RA government highly values the effective bilateral cooperation between Armenia and France, reaffirming the commitment to expand mutually beneficial and constructive cooperation in a number of directions.
The interlocutors exchanged ideas on the current projects implemented in cooperation with the AFD, as well as new directions of possible cooperation. A special reference was made to the long-term cooperation formed with the FFG in the direction of effective management of the water sector and the importance of its continuity.
In their turn, the representatives of the FFG reaffirmed the readiness of the agency to support the Republic of Armenia and improve the quality of the already established dialogue, creating preconditions for long-term effective cooperation.
