There is an agreement to open the Armenian-Turkish border at the beginning of the summer

In the negotiations for the settlement of Armenia-Turkey relations, the RA special representative Ruben Rubinyan announced an agreement to open the Armenian-Turkish land border at the beginning of summer.

According to him, the border should be opened for citizens of third countries and holders of diplomatic passports.

Rubinyan also noted that the Turkish side is also preparing for it. "In any case, there was no claim that the agreement is not in force," he said, adding that the Armenian side is working to furnish and re-equip the Margara checkpoint, which also implies the creation of infrastructure.

Rubinyan also noted that a meeting of special representatives is not planned at the moment.
