Ghazaryan highly appreciated the close relations between the Ministries of Internal Affairs of Armenia and Georgia

On March 28, RA Minister of Internal Affairs Vahe Ghazaryan received Giorgi Sharvashidze, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Georgia to the Republic of Armenia.

Welcoming the guest, Vahe Ghazaryan congratulated the ambassador on his appointment and wished him efficient work and success.

Valuing the close relations between the Ministries of Internal Affairs of Armenia and Georgia, Vahe Ghazaryan noted the work done over the years to fight crime.

Expressing his gratitude for the warm reception and congratulations, Giorgi Sharvashidze also highly appreciated the close friendly relations formed. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary said his willingness to deepen and expand cooperation.

Arpine Sargsyan, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, presenting the works of forming the structure, referred to the introduction of patrol service in regions, reforms of criminal police, and territorial divisions.

The introduction of the water patrol service in Lake Sevan, the exchange of experience of the two states' employees of the ministries of internal affairs, and other issues of mutual interest were also discussed at the meeting.
