Sargis Khandanyan received the Ambassador of Poland to Armenia

On March 24, the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Chairman of the RA National Assembly, Sargis Khandanyan, received Poland's Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Armenia, Pawel Czeplak is completing his diplomatic mission in Armenia.

Sargis Khandanyan effectively assessed the ambassador's work in our country, which was aimed at developing Armenian-Polish relations.

In deepening inter-parliamentary cooperation, the parties valued the close collaboration of friendly groups. In this context, the commission's chairman considered the meetings with Polish colleagues during the visit of the Armenia-Poland friendship group to Poland last year as effective.

Thoughts were exchanged on deploying the EU long-term monitoring mission in Armenia; Sargis Khandanyan thanked the Polish government for supporting the mission's decision, expressing his belief that it will play a significant role in establishing peace and security in the region.

The ambassador thanked me for the reception. He congratulated Sargis Khandanyan on his election as the chairman of the commission. Pavel Cheplak emphasized the deepening of cooperation between the two countries' legislative bodies.

At the end of the meeting, issues related to the upcoming visit of the Poland-Armenia friendship group to Armenia were also discussed.
