RA Defense Minister Suren Papikyan referred to the state of the defense lines.
In response to the question of Anna Grigoryan, deputy of the NA Hayastan faction, he noted that although the line is not in an ideal condition, no one closes their eyes to that fact, "Of course, on the front line, everything is not as I would like, first of all, as the Minister of Defense. But everything is being done so that the front line is stronger day by day. Previously, during a closed discussion, I presented the scope and nature of the work. Those works are ongoing."
According to Papikyan, the defense line needs complete furnishing, especially after the September battles unleashed by Azerbaijan. According to him, hundreds of kilometers of field and mountain roads have been built over the past few years, leading to advanced fortifications. Hundreds of bases were also made. Papikyan emphasized that we should remember that during this period, there were some escalation cases, due to which the line was changed and not in favor of Armenia.
