The genocide, which the Armenian people were subjected to by the Turks and Ottomans, is against humanity
The head of the Iraq-Armenia friendship group of the Parliament of the Republic of Iraq, who is on an official visit to Yerevan, Mohammed Sadiq Mohammed, the deputy head of the group, Utban Jamil Mansur, the members of the friendship group, the representative of the European Department of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, diplomat Mohammed Hataf Mujli Al-Shuwaili, visited the Tsitsernakaberd memorial on March 14.
The guests bowed flowers at the eternal fire commemorating the Armenian Genocide, silently honoring the memory of the Holy Martyrs.
They also visited the Museum-Institute of the Genocide, got acquainted with the certifying documents about the Genocide, and viewed the exhibits.
Mohammed Sadik Mohammed, the head of the Iraq-Armenia friendship group of the Parliament of the Republic of Iraq, wrote in the memorial book "Honoured Guests," "The genocide to which the Turks and Ottomans subjected the Armenian people is against humanity. We hope they won't happen again in the future. We wish the best for the Armenian people and the state."
