The RA Minister of Justice, Grigor Minasyan, reported that due to the construction of a new jail, the Nubarashen, Yerevan Center, Convicts' Hospital, and Vardashen penitentiary institutions would be closed.
He said, "Instead of the mentioned four old and bad institutions, we will have a new modern penitentiary institution. This week, three design and calculation companies have already participated, and in the coming days, we will see which company is recognized as the winner."
