Narek Mkrtchyan met with the Deputy Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, Marian Yuretska

As part of his working visit to New York, RA Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Narek Mkrtchyan met with Czech Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Marian Yuretska.

Emphasizing the importance of the work aimed at expanding bilateral cooperation, the parties discussed several issues related to the social protection sphere of both countries, in particular, pension security, the implementation of effective programs aimed at using the potential of senior generation professionals, encouraging non-cash transactions, etc.

Minister Narek Mkrtchyan presented the 10% back payment program of pension and benefits in case of non-cash transactions in the Republic of Armenia for about a year. Deputy Prime Minister Marian Yuretska was interested in the details of the project and expressed willingness to organize a visit with the participation of representatives and experts of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Czech Republic, during which the latter will have the opportunity to learn about the project and exchange experience.

Marian Yuretska, in her turn, presented the community social programs aimed at the economic activation of socially vulnerable groups in the Czech Republic, the types of services provided to people with disabilities, and detailed the process of deinstitutionalization of care facilities.

The parties have agreed to cooperate more closely in the field of social protection through an exchange of experiences, the visits of specialists, and the signing of a memorandum of understanding.
