Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg Jean Asselborn visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial.

The delegation headed by the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Jean Asselborn, who arrived in Armenia on an official visit, visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial on February 22 by RA Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan.

The guests were welcomed by Harutyun Marutyan, director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute.

The ministers of the two countries laid wreaths at the memorial to the victims of the Armenian Genocide. The guests placed flowers near the eternal fire and observed a minute of silence in memory of the innocent victims of the Armenian Genocide.

At the end of the visit, the guests walked around Memorial Park, where Mr. Jean Asselborn watered 2018—the fir tree he planted during his visit to Tsitsernakaberd on March 27.
