Vache Terteryan presented the problems that arose after the war to WB representatives

RA Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Vache Terteryan met with representatives of the World Bank. The World Bank's Senior Economist, Nadia Fernanda Piffaretti, thanked the Deputy Minister for the welcome and briefly presented the mission's objectives.

Nadya Pifferatti noted that they visited the Syunik region and will visit the Gegharkunik region shortly to learn about the situation on the ground after the war unleashed by Azerbaijan.

The deputy minister welcomed the guests and considered such visits necessary, especially to war-affected communities. Vache Terteryan presented in detail the problems related to the balanced territorial development in Syunik, Gegharkunik, and Vayots Dzor after the war and indicated the government's priorities for solving these problems.

The deputy minister was also interested in the international experience of the World Bank in different regions in such situations and emphasized that it can be helpful in the implementation of new ideas and new development programs in Armenia.

At the end of the meeting, an agreement was reached to have another meeting discussion after visiting the marzes and getting acquainted with the local situation.
