Criminal proceedings have been initiated by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces in connection with the incident of causing a gunshot wound to a conscript of the Armenian Armed Forces.
The Fifth Garrison Investigative Department of the Central Military District of the Republic of Armenia received a report that on 14.02.2023, around 18:05, a soldier of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan fired a shot to take his life out of national, ethnic origin, hatred, intolerance or enmity. In the direction of the combat base in the Norabak settlement of the guard station of the RA Ministry of Defense, the N military unit. As a result of the shooting, mandatory conscript soldier D. P. received a gunshot wound in the left shoulder region.
In connection with the case, criminal proceedings were initiated in the Fifth Garrison Investigation Department of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia under the features of Articles 44-155, Part 2, Clauses 1 and 15 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia.
