The rescuers who arrived in Aleppo visited the Mother Church of St. Karasnits Mankants
On February 11, 2023, the group of the National Rescue Service of the Republic of Armenia, which arrived in Aleppo, visited the S. Karasnits Mankants Mother Church and was received by the Leader of Armenian Diocese of Beroea, His Holyness Bishop Makar Ashgarian.
The Holy Father addressed the rescuers from Armenia, noting that the provincial authorities of Aleppo and the entire Aleppo Armenian community greatly appreciated their enormous work.
The Holy Father thoroughly presented the history of St. Karasnits Mankants Church, after which the Lord's Prayer was recited together under the guidance of the Holy Father.
At the end of the meeting, a candle was lit in the church in memory of the innocent victims of the devastating earthquake.
The rescue team members were accompanied by the advisor of the RA State Council, Consul Babken Badalyan, and the staff of the RA State Council in Aleppo.
