On February 9, Minister Vahan Kerobyan received France's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia Anne Louyot. Deputy Minister Narek Teryan was also present at the meeting.
During the meeting, issues related to the first France-Armenia Economic Summit to be held in Paris were discussed.
The purpose of the summit is to present the economic opportunities of Armenia to French business people, as well as to more effectively use the potential of economic cooperation between Armenia and France, particularly in the fields of sustainable and green (carbon-free) economy, agriculture, as well as high-tech industry.
During the meeting, the economic modernization program was also discussed. Investment attraction, implementation of bilateral programs, further development of Armenian-French relations, and expansion of economic ties between the two countries were highlighted.
