RA Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan informed that 1 million 670 thousand tourists visited Armenia in 2022, "In November and December, we exceeded the indicators of 2019. 159,000 tourists visited Armenia in January, which is 30 percent more than the record figure of 2019."
During the NA-Government question-and-answer session, he noted that this year, 5 times more than usual - 1 billion drams - was allocated for tourism marketing. This aims to increase the tourist flow, "The program for developing 20 tourist clusters is being actively implemented. Investments are made in Gyumri, Jermuk, Goris, and other communities."
