The rescue service informs that there are closed and impassable highways in the RA territory. The roads leading from the Amberd high mountain meteorological station to Amberd Castle and Kari Lake in Aragatsotn Marz are closed.
The Vardenyats mountain pass is closed for trucks with couplings. The Sisian-Saravan highway is closed for trucks with trailers and difficult for other vehicles. The bends of Tigranashen, the roads of Lori, Gegharkunik marzes, Lanjik-Mastara, Goris-Sisian, and Ashotsk-Amasia are challenging to pass.
There is snow in Vardenyats pass, Syunik marz, and Yeghegnadzor city. There is a traffic jam on the Amasia-Ashotsk highway. Drivers are advised to drive exclusively with winter tires.
According to the information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs of North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars highway is closed to all vehicles.
