Araik Harutyunyan received the heads of the European Weightlifting Federation (EWF).
Head of the Prime Minister's Office, European Weightlifting 2023, Arayik Harutyunyan, the chairman of the interdepartmental commission for the preparation and organization of the championship, received the president of the European Weightlifting Federation (EWF), Antonio Conflitti, and the general secretary, Milan Mihajlovic.
The interlocutors discussed the course of preparations for the European Adult Weightlifting Championship to be held in Yerevan for the first time in April this year.
Araik Harutyunyan thanked the management of the European Weightlifting Federation (EWF) for entrusting our country with the organization of such a responsible tournament and noted that the RA government would make every effort to hold the game at a high level. It was emphasized that all necessary infrastructures are available for this.
Antonio Konflitti, for his part, noted that they were at the Sports Concert Complex and were impressed by the conditions and opportunities available there.
The European Adult Weightlifting Championship will be held at Yerevan K. in the sports concert complex named after Demirchyan. The opening ceremony will take place on April 14, and the tournament on April 15-23.
The European Weightlifting Championship will be a ranking for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
