The Department of Motor Roads of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia reported that the road from Georgia to Russia through the "Verin Lars" border checkpoint is closed for trucks due to snow and ice.
"The Gudauri-Kobi section of the Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Lars international highway is closed for vehicles with trailers and semi-trailers," the Georgian department said.
