Referring to the international evaluations regarding the closure of the Lachin Corridor by Azerbaijan, Kristine Grigoryan, HRD of the RA, noted that clear actions are also needed.
According to Grigoryan. "Important international actors and organizations have made direct and targeted evaluations. The ongoing blockade gives grounds to claim that the assessments are no longer enough for us because the situation does not change; it is necessary to take action. In particular, I called on the UN Human Rights Council to send a fact-finding mission to the Lachin corridor to understand the situation on the ground and have a basis for its conclusions."
The HRD also said that UN specialized organizations should submit information on the situation to the UN Security Council.
