The RA human rights defender appealed to the international actors to take all possible measures to reopen the Lachin Corridor and stop the humanitarian crisis in Artsakh that is deepening daily.

The unique joint report of the human rights defenders of Armenia and Artsakh, "On the humanitarian consequences of the closure of the only road connecting Artsakh to Armenia and the world by Azerbaijan," published on December 15 of this year, as well as substantive information on the violations of the rights of a separate group of persons, was presented to the person with the mandate to protect human rights. to two dozen international organizations and other actors involved in the resolution of the conflict, including UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk, CE Human Rights Commissioner Dunja Mijatović, EU Special Representative for Human Rights Eamon Gilmore and others.

Among other things, the UN special rapporteurs on thematic issues were presented with gross violations of people's rights to life, health care, and food and called upon to take all possible measures to reopen the Lachin Corridor and stop the humanitarian crisis in Artsakh that is deepening day by day.

It is noteworthy that the problems of the most vulnerable groups, including detailed information on the continuous violation of the rights of the elderly, children, and persons with disabilities, have been brought to the special attention of international actors based on a thorough analysis of the events taking place under the conditions of complete blockade for nine days since December 12. :
