The RA Ministry of Health reports that two more patients will hear thanks to the cochlear implant surgery without catching the other person's speech movements and without unnecessary strain.
With no additional connecting links, the entire computer processor is included in the device, with the help of which the sounds are changed, and the patient can hear. Deputy Minister of Health Artak Jumayan was present at the launch of the spiral implant in the "Shengavit" medical center.
Artak Jumayan emphasized the preventive works aimed at solving hearing problems, reminding that in Armenia, hearing screening of newborns aimed at early detection of children with hearing disorders and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder is also carried out to organize their further treatment as early as possible.
