HRDs of Armenia and Artsakh have sent a report on the humanitarian crisis in Artsakh to the international structures

By publishing this special joint report of Human Rights Defenders of Armenia and Artsakh on the humanitarian consequences of closing the only road connecting Artsakh to Armenia and the world, I join the call of my colleague and friend Gegham Stepanyan. Kristine Grigoryan, RA HRD, wrote about this on her Facebook page.

"The report presents facts that confirm the fictitious nature of the action of the Azerbaijani "environmentalists," the direct connections of the "activists" with the Azerbaijani government, and unique services.

Facts are presented regarding continuous violations of people's rights.

We appeal to governments, international and regional organizations with a mandate to protect human rights and other actors involved in resolving the conflict to take all possible measures to stop the humanitarian crisis in Artsakh that is deepening daily.

The report was prepared in English, based on the analysis of the events of December 12-14. The Institution of the Human Rights Defender of Armenia continues to be in 24-hour contact with the Institution of the Human Rights Defender of Artsakh, non-governmental organizations operating in Artsakh, and other actors to record the situation and collect and confirm the facts.

The report will be sent to international and regional organizations and other actors involved in resolving the conflict, promising to continuously transmit information and facts regarding the ongoing violations of human rights and the humanitarian crisis in Artsakh as a result of these flagrant acts of Azerbaijani anti-Armenian policy."
