Radar Armenia learned that the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia appealed to the World Health Organization in this regard, alerting the situation and waiting for the response of the high-ranking officials of the WHO regarding the possible humanitarian disaster.
In addition, RA Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan referred to Azerbaijan's closure of the Lachin Corridor in his Twitter microblog, stressing that those in need of urgent medical care cannot move to Yerevan.
"As a result of the closure of the Lachin Corridor by Azerbaijan, the Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh are facing a medical and humanitarian crisis. People with urgent medical needs cannot be moved to Yerevan; medicines and humanitarian aid are not delivered to the population," wrote Minister of Health Avanesyan.
