The former minister starts an indefinite sit-in in front of the UN office in Yerevan

Artak Beglaryan, former Minister of State of the Republic of Artsakh and adviser to the Minister of State of Artsakh, announced that they are starting an indefinite sit-in and movement in front of the UN office in Yerevan.

"1. UN bodies must condemn Azerbaijan's genocidal actions and blockade against the people of Artsakh.

2. The UN Security Council should address the issue of ensuring the security of the people of Artsakh by providing explicit international guarantees.

3. At least the five permanent members of the UN Security Council (USA, Russia, France, Great Britain, and China) and the European Union must condemn Azerbaijan's actions and take practical measures to rein in Azerbaijan.
I call on the society of Armenia:

4. To get out of the stupor of indifference and helplessness, everyone contributes to the holy work of protecting Artsakh and guaranteeing the Armenian future.

5. To put pressure on the embassies of the five permanent members of the UN Security Council, in particular by various public actions, demanding clear measures, both individually and in the UN format;

6. To speak and write in all possible places about the importance and current need of Artsakh, both Armenian and foreign languages.

7. Whoever can join the sit-in or protest actions, let him join because our compatriots of Artsakh are suffering much greater deprivations now.

Beglaryan calls on our compatriots in the Diaspora to organize acts of public disobedience in their countries, demanding practical steps from their governments to protect Artsakh and curb Azerbaijan, to launch awareness campaigns to present the needs of Artsakh's Armenians and Azerbaijani crimes to foreign societies and media.

Artsakh is the unyielding value of all Armenians, and this struggle belongs to all of us," said Beglaryan's Facebook page.
