The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that there are closed and impassable highways in the RA territory. The roads leading from the "Amberd" high mountain meteorological station to Amberd Castle and Kari Lake in the Aragatsotn region are closed.
The curves of Stepanavan are difficult for trucks with a trailer. There is ice in some places on the highways of the Tavush, Syunik, and Gegharkunik regions. There is fog in the Syunik region, on the Lanjik-Mastara highway, and in the town of Chambarak. There is snow in the Shirak region, Vanadzor, Jermuk, Talin, Charentsavan, Hrazdan, and the Saravan-"Zanger" section.
According to the information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs of North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars highway is open for all vehicles. Drivers are advised to drive exclusively with winter tires.
