On December 7, with the blessing of H.H. Karekin, the Second Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, a memorial service was held in memory of the innocent victims of the earthquake of December 7, 1988, in the Saint Hovhannes the Baptist and Saint Vardan chapel-baptism of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.
The Congregation of the Mother See raised a prayer to God for the peace and tranquility of the souls of the martyred Armenians.
