RA Deputy Chief of Police Ara Fidanyan stated that in 2022, about 15 thousand people received RA citizenship.
He says, "Last year, this indicator was about 3,000; this year, 15,000." The Deputy Chief of Police also noted that these persons are mostly Armenians, and the process of granting them RA citizenship fully met the established standards.
Fidanyan noted that necessary measures are being taken to relieve the work of passport departments and speed up the service to citizens.
