Gegham Gevorgyan, the chairman of the Competition Protection Commission, left for Paris on a working visit at the invitation of Benoit Curé, the head of the French competition authority.
Within the framework of the visit, a bilateral meeting of the heads of competition bodies of the two countries will take place, during which issues of mutual interest aimed at developing cooperation will be discussed.
The commission's chairman will also participate in the 21st World Conference on Competition of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development to be held in Paris from December 1 to 2.
The conference is held under the title "Competition Policy Objectives" and will be attended by heads of competition authorities of OECD member countries and several other countries.
