Today, November 15, the Governor of Tavush Hayk Ghalumyan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Armenia N. G. Fan Yong. This was reported by Tavush provincial administration. The meeting was attended by Narek Ghushchyan, deputy governor of Tavush; Argishti Amirkhanyan, deputy head of Ijevan community; Gurgen Harutyunyan, director of development programs, tourism, and analysis department of Tavush governorate.
The governor presented the Tavush marz to the ambassador, the directions for possible cooperation, and the possibilities of implementing joint projects. During the meeting, issues related to the development of the fields of agriculture, tourism, and education in Tavush marz were also discussed.
In his speech, the ambassador assured that the development of these areas would be effective because the Tavush region has excellent development opportunities. Ambassador N.G. Fan Yong thanked for the reception, noted that the visit was informative, and is happy to get acquainted with the vision that will enable China to support the region's development. At the end of the meeting, the attendees gave each other souvenirs as a sign of friendship, after which they visited Makaravank.
