Favorable conditions are created for foreign companies in Armenia

The office of the Chief Commissioner of the Diaspora reported that the "Europe-Armenia 2022" business forum was held in the capital of Bulgaria at the initiative of the Union of Armenians of Europe. More than two dozen representatives of the community structures of the Union of Armenians of Europe from France, Poland, Germany, Belgium, Spain, and Bulgaria took part in the forum.

Chief Commissioner of Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Zareh Sinanyan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Armenia to Bulgaria Armen Yedigaryan, a two-time champion of the Olympic Games Armen Nazaryan and representatives of the business world from different countries were present at the forum. Artur Hovhannisyan, the President of the Armenian Union of Europe, welcomed the participants and expressed his hope that the first official forum of the Union of Armenians of Europe will become an important platform and contribute to the economic development of Armenia.

Chief Commissioner of Diaspora Affairs Zareh Sinanyan presented the programs implemented by the state and noted that favorable conditions are being created for foreign companies that would like to develop their business in Armenia. In addition, the development of Armenia-Europe relations with the involvement of European investors in the IT sector, as well as the creation of free economic zones in Armenia, the establishment of close economic, scientific and cultural ties between Armenia and the EU, and the restoration of direct flights to Yerevan-Sofia were highlighted on both sides.
