Deputy Prime Minister Matevosyan visited the villages of Nerkin Hand, Srashen, Kornidzor

Deputy Prime Minister Hambardzum Matevosyan was on a working visit to Syunik Region on October 11-12.

Accompanied by the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures Gnel Sanosyan and Syunik Region Governor Robert Ghukasyan, the Deputy Prime Minister visited the border guard villages of Nerkin Hand, Srashen, Kornidzor, got acquainted with the problems affecting the residents, and gave appropriate instructions on the spot to solve them in the short and long term.

The Deputy Prime Minister also familiarized himself with the road construction works carried out and in progress using the RA state budget. It should be noted that large-scale road construction is being carried out in the Syunik region, including several interstates and national and local roads passing through the area.

In particular, the Deputy Prime Minister got acquainted with the overhaul of the M-2, Yerevan-Yeraskh-Goris-Meghri-Iran border highway km196+000-km202+200 section (Sisian intersection), the reconstruction process of the Ltsen-Tatev 19.9km long road, was in Tatev-Aghvani in the road sections under major repair, followed the construction of the 7.5 km bypass section of the Kapan-Tsav highway Kapan-Chakaten, the structure of the Tandzaver-Shurnukh highway, as well as the reconstruction of the roads leading from the intersection of the village of Kashun to Badravan and Tegh-Kornidzor.

The Deputy Prime Minister met with builders and representatives of technical control organizations at the construction sites and discussed several issues, emphasizing the high-quality implementation of construction works.

Within the framework of the visit, Deputy Prime Minister Matevosyan also got acquainted with A. Manukyan's statue, the intermediate section of Kapan Mall, and A. To the renovation works of the courtyards of buildings on Manukyan and Tumanyan streets. The next stop of the Deputy Prime Minister was the "Children's and Youth School of Physical Education" CNCO, whose renovation works have also been completed.

Hambardzum Matevosyan also followed the ongoing works on the renovation of sidewalks and stairs, and retaining walls on Tumanyan Street in Kapan city, which are also being carried out within the framework of subsidy programs with the co-financing of the state.
