On October 12, the RA human rights defender received Alexander Vinnikov, the head of the NATO Liaison Office in Georgia.
During the meeting, Mrs. Grigoryan presented the consequences of the aggression unleashed by Azerbaijan in September, recorded by the Defender institution, referring to the alleged torture and inhumane and humiliating treatment of Armenian, including prisoners of war, including female service members.
The defender presented to the interlocutor the facts about the judicial killings of Armenian service members, emphasizing the importance of international actors' condemnation of Azerbaijan's actions.
Mr. Vinnikov thanked me for the comprehensive presentation and noted that NATO closely follows the course of events.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the possible directions for deepening cooperation, including the implementation of the UN Security Council Resolution 1325, "Women, Peace and Security," and within the framework of democratic control of the security sector.
