RA Human Rights Defender Kristine Grigoryan and France's Ambassador to Armenia, S.E. Anne Louyot, visited Syunik Region on October 5, where they met with Syunik Region Governor Robert Ghukasyan and talked with the latter about the damage caused to the settlements of the region as a result of the aggression of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces in the period between September 13-15.
The governor presented the current situation and noted the primary issues.
Then, the Defender and the ambassador, accompanied by the region governor Robert Ghukasyan and the head of the Goris community Arush Arushanyan, visited the families affected by the targeting.
Residents of houses damaged by shelling and projectiles and an injured civilian were met in the Verishen community.
The latter received a shrapnel injury while doing agricultural work.
