Clarifying the statement of Levon Ter-Petrosyan, the first president of the Republic of Armenia yesterday, that: "...the need for the platform initiated by His Holiness the Patriarch between the authorities and the opposition can be considered exhausted, which, however, does not at all belittle the persistent efforts of His Holiness, which, due to the fact of the publication that is the reason for this reaction, have already given their results." Father Yesai Artenyan, director of the information system of the Holy Etchmiadzin Mother See, wrote on his Facebook page that the Catholicos of All Armenians appreciates the readiness of the RA and NKR presidents to discuss the challenges facing the country and the possible ways to overcome them in the format of an apparent meeting.
Father Yesa's Artenyan informs that His Holiness will have separate discussions with the presidents, as a result of which the continuation of meetings in this format will be clarified.
