On September 28, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Armenia Sergey Kopirkin and the military and air force attaché of the embassy Vyacheslav Kosov and the commander of the joint group of the armed forces of the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation Tigran Parvanyan visited Goris and Jermuk.
The ambassador met with the representatives of the Armenian army command and got acquainted with the damage done in the border areas as a result of the Azerbaijani shelling on September 13-14.
Kopirkin was also at the location of the separate battalion of the 102nd Russian military base in the city of Goris and the different aviation groups of the Russian peacekeeping force in the town of Sisian.
