Referring to the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, the TASS agency reported that Armenia would not participate in the CSTO military exercises to be held in Kazakhstan from September 26 to October 8 due to the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
"Taking into account the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border as a result of the aggression carried out by Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, based on the problems faced by the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia, has decided to refrain from the participation of the units of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the exercises to be held in the framework of the CSTO in the Republic of Kazakhstan," the statement said.
