According to the 2022 annual report, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Switzerland are the leading countries in the economic freedom index, with 8.59, 8.48, and 8.37 points, respectively. It is noteworthy that, in general, due to 2020, the restrictions applied due to the pandemic, the indicators of the world's countries have decreased.

In 2016, RA was in 40th place, the following year - 39th, in 2018 - 19th, and 2019 - 17th.
