Facilitate the procedure of registration and identification of citizens in the information system
The government made changes and additions to the decision defining the technical characteristics (description, interface) of the state-owned specially developed system (mobile application) and its procedure.
Currently, any person with a smartphone can download the relevant mobile application and use it to record or take photos of violations of traffic rules (legislation in the field of road safety) and submit them for investigation. The "Road Control Armenia" mobile application and the website Activesociety. am are running at present.
Using the mobile application, it was possible to register more than a dozen of the most frequently encountered offenses visible to an ordinary citizen. According to the rationale, the user authentication process under the current system is quite complex and time-consuming. In particular, to register in the design and undergo authentication, a citizen must have an identification card and devices that read this card, which naturally causes difficulty in writing in the system.
Accordingly, it is planned to facilitate the registration and identification of citizens in the designed information system, which will encourage more people to use the application and increase citizens' activity in registering violations of traffic rules.
