Criminal proceedings have been initiated in connection with the murder of a serviceman

In the Fifth Garrison Investigation Department of the Main Military Investigation Department of the RA Investigative Committee, criminal proceedings were initiated in connection with the murder of mandatory conscript soldier Arman Gagik Sargsyan by Article 155, Part 2, Clauses 1 and 15 of the RA Criminal Code.
According to preliminary information, in 2022, On September 6, around 10:15 p.m., a soldier of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan fired a shot in the direction of a combat position located in the guard station of the N military unit of the RA Ministry of Defense, as a result of which Arman Gagiki Sargsyan, a mandatory conscript of the same army unit, received a fatal gunshot wound in the head.
