"Every Armenian, I am sure, has a special place for Gyumri in his heart." Hrachya Sargsyan participated in the "Symphonic-Reincarnation" concert
As part of the Yerevan Days held in the cultural capital of Armenia, the big concert "Symphonic-Reincarnation" was held in Gyumri. The unprecedented concert program in Vardanants Square brought together thousands of Gyumri citizens and guests of the city. RA Deputy Prime Minister Hambardzum Matevosyan, Yerevan Mayor Hrachya Sargsyan, Gyumri community leader Vardges Samsonyan, RA Shirak State Governor Nazeli Baghdasaryan, ministers, members of the councils of the two cities, and staff representatives joined the event.
In their welcome speeches addressed to the city and Yerevan days, the state officials presented the development programs initiated in the community and outlined the upcoming tasks.
Yerevan Mayor Hrachya Sargsyan congratulated Gyumri Day and expressly noted. "I’m sure Gyumri has a special place in every Armenian’s heart. Gyumri is one of the cities that formed and preserved our culture of urban environment and coexistence. Here, on these streets, our famous writers and musicians, scientists, and unsurpassed masters of Gyumri walked; Armenian culture and art developed in these buildings-monuments, where the Gyumri heroes won their first victories. As the head of the city-dwelling Yerevan community, as an Armenian, I am encouraged by the diligence of the people of Gyumri, their faith in their strength, and their endurance to face disasters; it reaffirms my faith. Yes, we must not give up on anything, work with redoubled energy, and constantly develop and build our motherland: house by house, street by street, community by community... I am happy about the rising Gyumri, reviving and beautifying daily. Our beloved city and I assure you that the capital Yerevan will always be by your side, and thanks to our joint efforts, we will overcome all seemingly intractable problems very soon. And may this unity be lasting, and may our unity and love become the basis of our future courage, our prosperous country, and our victories.
The audience received the fusion of two groups with different musical preferences with great enthusiasm. The playlist was full of seasoned favorites. There were warmth and emotions in the heart of Gyumri city.
At the concert's end, Gyumri community leader Vardges Samsonyan once again thanked his colleague from Yerevan for joining the festival and covering Gyumri with so much warmth.
