On August 31, at 22:57, Gegharkunik's regional crisis management center was alerted that a haystack was burning near the kindergarten of Akunk village.
Two combat teams from the fire-rescue squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Ministry of ES went to the scene of the incident.
It was found that fodder was burning in the yard of one of the houses on the 1st lane of Barekamutyun street.
The fire was contained at 11:49 p.m. and extinguished at 02:02 a.m. on September 1. About 400 bales of fodder were burned.
