The other day, citizen Vigen Sargsyan published a video on his Facebook page where he is arguing with two police officers about throwing a cigarette on the ground.
Radar Armenia learned from the RA Police that an official inspection is being conducted at the Yerevan Police Department in connection with the published video.
In response to our written request, the Police also stated that "During the 1st half of 2022, according to the results of the official investigations carried out by the RA Police, 17 disciplinary penalties were imposed on police officers for violating the rules of ethics, committing an indecent act, and disrespecting a citizen.", ten of them were reprimanded, seven were strictly reprimanded."
