TThe head of the General Directorate discussed the prisoners' return with the ICRC mission's leader

On August 30, Chief of the RA Armed Forces General Staff, First Deputy Minister of Defense, Major General Edward Asryan, received the head of the delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Armenia, Thierry Ribault.
During the meeting, reference was made to the issue of the early release and repatriation of the Armenian prisoners of war and civilians held hostage in Azerbaijan, as well as the work being done to find the missing persons.
Several cooperation issues were discussed, and an agreement was reached to continue the participation of the representatives of the RA armed forces in international humanitarian law courses.
